WEBDESIGN GALLERY... So how much time does it take me to design a custom website? That usually depends on my customers. If you have all the content and know which photos you'd like me to use, I can get a complete website designed within a couple days. I ask that all digital photos be simply emailed to me or provided on a CD. In addition, I use a digital photography website to license photos for use on clients' websites. If you don't have any photos, or you'd like me to use higher quality photos for your website design, just let me know.

What outside applications can I embed into your website? Here are just a few I've worked with and can show examples...

  • Install Google Calendar.
  • Install and customize Blog.
  • Install newsletter subscriber box so you can collect email addresses.
  • Install and customize Ning Community / Social Network.
  • Install / customize credit card processing forms, so you can sell online.

How easy is it for me to design a website for clients out of state? Easy.

This is the digital age, and I don't actually have to meet with a client face to face. We can do this all by email and phone, and save ourselves a lot of time. Locally, though, I do appreciate the chance to meet clients. If you have an office, I don't mind meeting there. If a Starbucks is more convenient, that's fine also. Call today!

    Case Studies of Webdesign Clients

All Star Movers has been a client of mine since late in 2009. I took over the design of AllStarTransfer.com and designed a new website, with new graphics, new sales copy (we were able to use a portion of the old copy as well), and a completely different navigation structure. As local and nationwide movers, they have a large area of places to target in search. For some time they had front page rankings in Google for terms such as Seattle movers, even taking top rankings for a period of time, before dropping again. Currently they're on page 2 of Google, but already with this drop we are trying new things, including content and additional linking in strategic places. Google is thought to take 2-3 weeks to "update" it's index, so we are waiting to see if our latest changes are going to pay off. If not, it's back to working on content and links. In the meantime, they continue to maintain a number one ranking in Google for "California nationwide movers", "Illinois nationwide movers", "Arizona Nationwide movers" etc. and pull high rankings for numerous towns (at last check) in Washington State.

Using Facebook to Promote a Website

Gelato'icious Desserts is an italian ice cream shop that sells Gelato in Everett, WA. With this client I hope to see social media come into play. Not many people in Everett may be familiar with "Gelato", but with a good Facebook campaign they could be, and they could be encouraged to come in for discounts, etc., should my clients choose to take this route. In this case, my clients at Gelato'icious Desserts are running their own Facebook page. If they report a success story about using Facebook to "get the word out" to a lot of people, I'll share that here (be sure to check back).
